About

Building the future on the basis of trust

The credit market in Brazil is one of the most dysfunctional and exclusionary in the world. High default rates encourage traditional financial institutions to charge even higher interest rates, further driving defaults.

Founded in 2021 out of the merger of Geru and Rebel, two of the most innovative fintech lenders in Brazil, Open Co is here to change this scenario. Our mission is to transform credit once and for all into a more fair, flexible and accessible tool that boosts the financial lives of the Brazilian people.

Open Co believes that the key to building groundbreaking credit products lies not only in technology, but mainly in building a relationship of trust with customers.

The time for expensive debts, bureaucracy and closed doors is over.

The future is now Open.
